Concentration

Have you ever taught "How to concentrate?" No? Okay..!! Imagine your childhood school days, despondently; students are disunited by three categories "Good" , "Average" and "Worst". Is there any of rule or Act to apply these kind of formula on students? Will it really work on "slow learner" to improve their academic level? Seriously No..!!

Focus of your mind.

People ever tell you "word of mouth" to concentrate. But they never teach you"How to concentrate on that particular thing?" Now I share you one of my classmate experience.

Akshita, a below average student often teased by everyone for her distracted mind. May or may not be they are seducing her confident level which leads her to extreme depression. What they gonna yield by mortifying her? But, the truth is they never gonna support or teach her to break through her barrier. Concentration or distraction both are based on our mind. Once you learn how to concentrate on your mind, then you are in a position to break down your negatives.

"You can't expect to do something,
If you don't teach them how to do it."

Later, I got a chance to be a friend with Akshita. I observed her day to day activities, then I came up with a proper solution for her needs. The problem is distraction, improper focus. I taught her simple tricks and task to test her concentration level. But the best part is she tore her extreme barriers. Before that lemme brief you about Concentration and Practice.

"You can't good at something,Unless
you have to practice it"

Distraction:

Imagine you are practicing a distraction for eight hours in a day, and six days in a week. What would be the good at after six months? you could be expert in distraction and you may be a blogger or author for a distraction book. And you will awarded for Noble Prize on Distraction. That's how good you are. But the truth is you are not practicing distraction for a eight hours, probably you are practicing it for sixteen hours a day, seven days in a week. Either positive or a negative if you are good at practicing over and over you would become really good at it. And that's y people are soo good at distraction.

"Why on people not good at concentration? because they never taught it and they never practice it"

I insist everyone to practice "Concentration" like Dance, Tennis, or Chess.

How to become good at Concentrating?
First , Understand your mind. It is very powerful tool more than any smart phone or a super computer in the world. Know that, they are invented and controlled by only human mind like you.

Learn how mind works, then control it and once you control it then focus it. you can't focus on something unless you understanding it.

How mind works?
You need to understand two things, how the mind works. One is "Awareness" and other one is "Mind". Now, imagine the word.

"Awareness" is like a "Ball" and "Mind" is a "Gambling Roulette Wheel"

Ball and Gambling Roulette Wheel

By comparing Mind is gambling wheel imagine those numbers with feelings of mind like happy, sad, love, affection, anger, lazy..,etc.
Feelings of Mind

Now , replace one for happy, two for sad..etc,

When you throw a ball on the gambling roulette wheel, your awareness extremely focused on ball and number. And your concentration and consciousness are together on  gambling roulette wheel. Now ball may lands on any number which must be only one number at a time. Like that when you start "Awareness" to travel on your "Mind" it must be focus on only one thing at a time. You know what? This is a Concentration with Consciousness. your awareness finally only focus on only one thing at time.

Avatar

For Example, you are watching a movie like "Avatar". Truly,  you pay your money and you gave your mind three hours rent for director "James Cameron" because he takes your full awareness and consciousness by focusing your mind to the feelings shown at the time of silver screen. If there was a sad scene, whole theater will become silent and if there are any funny scenes whole theater will laugh. Because your are focusing it with consciousness. So Now you understood how your mind works.

There is a clear separation between your "Awareness" and "Mind". Take your awareness to move any area of your mind where you wanna go to but one at a time.

By now you got a clear idea about "Concentration" and "Distraction". The best way to bring the concentration is to practice it every day.

For healthy concentration, always keep that "Awareness Ball" on your "Mind". When you distracted, keep that drifted ball back to that mind. Whenever the ball drifted keep that ball in the same place repeat it, practice it.

"The more you practice it,the more you become better concentration."
